Overview
Riptide is an open-sea exploration game set in a Chinese mythology inspired region. You will begin with a dinky little raft which you can upgrade into a might sea-vessel, but it will cost you a fair share of your pirate’s booty. You start your adventure with the freedom to go anywhere you want. Locate shipwrecks scattered throughout the world to unlock pieces of the map that will help you to navigate. On your adventure you will come across a wide variety of monsters that drop loot, all ranging in difficulty. Encounter a monster that looks too tough to fight? Pull up to the dry docks to upgrade your ship and sail back to the monster once you feel you’re strong enough! With tons of area to explore and lots of weapons and equipment to upgrade, Riptide will be a barrel of fun. My Role
I was the project manager and producer for this project. This work involved many tasks such as:
- Scheduling Meetings
- Creating and assigning tasks for each sprint (Trello)
- Putting together presentation material
- Publishing game to Google Play Store
